Thanks for the comments! The next sale I do I will look into some of the free postings. One of my friends did put it on Craigslist, and we posted in our CafeMom's groups as well. Unfortunately in the two day's I think I can count on one hand the number of people we had. But I did make a little money! and made a little more room in the garage!
There was a question as to the difference in a Garage sale and a Yard sale? Not sure I would think a Garage sale is in your garage and a yard sale would be in the Yard, if you had no garage? Very interesting question though! There has to be some history behind it!

Yard Sale/Garage Sale
Some friends and I had and are having a Garage Sale this morning and tomorrow. I have not decided if it is worth the money. I have sold a few things, but still have more to go. But is the headache and time worth the money? At what point do you just give it away to people who could really use it?
This is my questions today. Is it worth it? What will I spend the money I make on? Things that I need or things that I want? Should I just donate the things?

Monday Mommy Moments
This weeks Mommy moment was more of a mommy realization. Each child you have gets a little tougher. Correct me if I am wrong, moms with multiple children, but with each child you become a little more shall I say, laid back. Here is my examples;
Josiah was playing the living room with Kira, I can't remember what I was doing but something where they were in ear shot but not direct eye site.
The crying did not last long so I assumed all was fine. After finishing whatever it was I was doing, I went and check on the kids. Much to my surprise Josiah had a nice sized scratch on his head. Kira proceeded to tell me she bumped him and he fell into the pack&play, must of hit the break on the wheel.
Later that day I realized I need to take Josiah 8 month pictures, so I put him in the recliner with the bear we have used for all the kids and took his picture. In the process of doing so I realized that the Coo Coo Clock was not running. I still withing arms reach of the chair turned and wound the clock. The next thing I know I hear Josiah crying again, this time he has gone from the chair to the floor. He acquired a nice chair/rug burn on his noise.

- With the first child I don't think I was ever out of eye site, the second one in the same room but defiantly never in a different room.
- With the first child you were right there so they never cried as you were picked them up before they could cry, the second child they cried but you were close enough and most likely saw what happened.

- Again with the first I would have never turned your back, and the second I would have at least kept one hand on the baby.
- First child I never check e-mail unless they were in bed, second child only when they were contained in something.

Peaches, neighbors & life!
I am so very thankful for our neighbors, thanks to them we will never run out of peaches, well at least not for awhile! I was greeted yesterday morning with a 5 gallon bucket full of peaches. Yes, I said 5 gallon bucket, mind you this is the third time I believe, they have brought peaches to us. If you remember the first time we made two batches of jam plus froze some. The second was just a handful so we ate them fresh. This time I spent 1 1/2 peeling and slicing peaches till I was sticky up to my elbows. I know have 16 cups of sliced peaches in my freezer! :) YEAH! I really do love them! Just a lot of work for an already tired mom.
As I was peeling peaches and talking on the cell phone to a friend, my other phone rang and it was my other neighbor wondering if I wanted some melon, she had more then she could use. Sure why not the more fruit the better right?
So know I have peaches coming out my ear, almost laterally, and some fresh melon. I cut the melon up today and the kids have almost eaten it all. Thank goodness we have a couple of fruit flies around here by the names of Cassie, Kira & Josiah.
We really do love our neighbors and the house we live in. The owner of our home came by yesterday also. Not really sure why, maybe to make sure it was still standing? I sure hope he liked what he saw and will continue with our lease come Dec.
The kids in the neighborhood are also a lot of fun. They all play together pretty well for the most part. We have a little bit of jealousy now and then but for the most part things are good on that front too.
School is going good for both the kids. Kira, bless her heart wants to read so bad. Cassie and I have been working hard on having her read everyday, so I think Kira is seeing this and wants in on it too. I guess I will have to start working a little more with her on her letter sounds. Anyone have any good idea for that? Good books?
Well that is just a few thoughts from me on this Thursday evening.

A LONG night!
We experienced something for the first time last night. This is our first time living off base in a community and I am really not sure what the "rules" are for things like last night.
We came home last night to our street full of cars. It appeared that our neighbors were having some kind of get together. After getting the kids in bed and having a little snack Kevin was off to bed as he needed to get up at 3am for work. A little picture into our house and neighborhood, the houses are really close so our bedroom window is right next to the neighbors back yard, yes the ones having the party. Kevin went to bed and I started watching a movie, about an hour later, 9pm, Kevin came down wondering if we had any ear plugs. By 11pm he was back down to have a glass of milk, no sleep yet. Now the neighbors were not being all that loud, no loud music, it is just the fact that our houses are so close. Kevin said it sounded like a hen house! the women and kids were outside. To add to the night, Kira was not sleeping very well either I think she was up 3 times from 11pm-1pm while Kevin and I drifted in and out of sleep. I believe it finally got quite and everyone went home or to bed by 2am. So needless to say Kevin got maybe an hour of sleep last night.
So if you are reading this if you would just shout out a prayer for Kevin as he is going to have a very long day today with only 1hr of sleep at best.
So what is the polite neighborly thing to have done? Should of I went over and asked them to maybe keep it down some? Just leave it be, I mean what if we want to have a party sometime? Any recommendations on good ear plugs, Kevin just can't seem to sleep with them in.
