Irresponsible Reporting Gone Wild

As the election draws closer and I watch media reports coming in, I am sick to my stomach at the stupidity and shameless bias of the Mainstream Media. These so called distinguished reporters are so in the tank for Obama that, to borrow a phrase from Rush Limbaugh, they are running out of oxygen hose. It seems all of the mainstream media with possibly the exception of Fox News is eagerly and willingly out to give Obama the Lewinsky treatment.

Some examples would include the shameless attempt to smear Sarah Palin at any possible opportunity, the media has descended upon Alaska like vultures on a carcass to dig up dirt. Why isn't the media crawling all over Chicago "researching" Barak Obama, who by the way, is just as new to politics as Palin.

Another sore point is the biased conclusion of the debate. John McCain clearly took Obama to the woodshed and the media calls it a tie and therefore a victory for Obama. Here are some quotes from both McCain and Obama from the debate:

MCCAIN: I'm afraid Senator Obama doesn't understand the difference between a tactic and a strategy.

MCCAIN: What he doesn't understand...

MCCAIN: I don't think that Senator Obama understands.

MCCAIN: Senator Obama doesn't seem to understand.

MCCAIN: What Senator Obama doesn't seem to understand...

MCCAIN: Again, a little bit of naiveté there. He doesn't understand.

MCCAIN: We seem to come full circle again. Senator Obama still doesn't quite understand, or doesn't get it.

It appears to me that McCain is pretty much on the offensive here.

OBAMA: And he's absolutely right.

OBAMA: John's right.

OBAMA: Senator McCain is absolutely right.

OBAMA: John, you're absolutely right.

OBAMA: Senator McCain is also right. Senator McCain is absolutely right.

OBAMA: Senator McCain and I, I think agree.

OBAMA: I give Senator McCain great credit.

OBAMA: Senator McCain and I agree for the most part on these issues.

Seems pretty wishy-washy to me, not what I would call leadership material.

Yet another instance of media bias is in the so called "bailout" plan. The economy is a mess due to the criminal behavior of mainly Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. Others implicated in the mess are, Bill and Hillary Clinton and, you guessed it, The Messiah, Barak Obama himself. The Democrats point the finger at the Republican party, but truth be told, no Republicans that I have found have been implicated in any way. Yet this is all Bush's fault and therefore McCain's fault because he is Bush all over again and the media gleefully reports it without doing any research into the problem. Now that the bill was voted down, as well as it should have been with all the Socialist drivel it contained, the media is pointing fingers again. CNN even blamed Rush Limbaugh!

Just out today is the news that NBC, that bastion of thought provoking reporting, sent a reporter to Hanoi to contact McCain's torturer and refute the fact that McCain was indeed tortured. This is a new low from the same network who had no problem airing a skit suggesting incest in the Palin family.

There is also word that Gwen Ifill of PBS will be moderating the Vice Presidential debate. The problem with this is the fact that she has a book due for release on inauguration day. The name of this book? "The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama." Does anyone else see a conflict of interest here? Does anyone honestly think that she will be fair and unbiased when an Obama victory stands to bring her considerable financial gain? Besides that, here is a quote from Ifill after Sarah Palin's acceptance speech at the RNC convention. Jim Leher asked for her closing thoughts, and this was her reply:

IFILL: She belittled -- and so did other speakers -- Barack Obama at every opportunity, mocking the size of the state, his community organizer status, and every time there was an explosion in this room. We also heard, uh, I think the chant started earlier in the night with Michael Steele. Every time they talked energy search -- energy, they started chanting, "Drill, baby, drill." That was the big cry of the night. She delivered her speech word-for-word.

The media is out of control in it's bias. Here are some quotes from Barack and Michelle Obama that have gone largely ignored by the Mainstream Media:

MICHELLE OBAMA: Barack knows that there's a hole in our soul.

OBAMA: I know my country has not perfected itself.
Picture (Metafile)

MICHELLE OBAMA: It's easier to hold onto your own stereotypes and misconceptions. It makes you feel justified in your ignorance. That's America.

OBAMA: We're confronting the history and stain of slavery in this country. We're confronting those scars.

MICHELLE OBAMA: For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country.

OBAMA: America is no longer what it could be, what it once was.

OBAMA: I know my country has not perfected itself. At times we've struggled to keep the promise of liberty and equality for all of our people. We've made our share of mistakes and there are times when our actions around the world have not lived up to our best intentions.

Now take a look at these quotes and tell me that Barack and Michelle Obama are proud of the country that the "Messiah" has every intention of running? It is a sad state of affairs when and empty suited, America hating bigot got the nomination of the Democratic party. The Country has some serious issues going on, some will say it is going to hell in a hand basket, and I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the leftist, biased media that has no sense of responsibility in their reporting.
