Truly Grateful

I have spent the majority of my day sitting listening and watching my children play in our back yard. Who would of thought that pool I bought and had so much trouble with in the beginning would create 5 hrs of fun today. I love the wonderful sounds that come from complete joy and happiness.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 (New International Version)

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)

I am so very very thankful for three beautiful and healthy children, the lord has blessed me beyond measure. Words can't even express how thankful and truly grateful I am for them.

Our vacation to WI&MN was great, it was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it. However one of the things we did while we were home was attend the funeral of one of our friends little boy who lived for only 2 hrs. We were very thankful that we were able to be in the area and attend the funeral to show our support.

At the funeral there were some awesome pictures that had been taken during the two short hours of this little boy's life. They were so precious that words cannot even describe. Our friends were blessed with these photos through a program called Now I lay Me Down To Sleep, it is an organization where professional photographers come and take pictures for you during the last hours of your children's life, and if you know ahead of time, during the pregnancy as well. I know how truly blessed our friends were by this organization so I just wanted to get the word out about them. Take a look at their website and if you can handle it, read some of the stories. They are so touching.

Take a moment to love on your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or any special children in your life. Be thankful for them and remember all those that have had and lost precious members of their families.

This is in loving memory of Joel Matthew.

Thanks for directing me to your post about Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. I had heard something about this at one point, but didn't know how to locate anyone. Turns out there are a lot of people in our area.

I am glad you were able to be there for your friends during their difficult time. I'm sure you were a blessing to them and they really needed you.

Heather
